Jakko the pilots name is actually LtZV1 Rolf Idzera who flew for 'The Aerobats' a flying display team.

I meant that it says KON. MARINE below the horizontal tail. That’s like painting “R. NAVY” on a British plane

Ah I see what you mean I thought you were talking about the pilot. I've just found this image and it appears that they did abbreviate to KON.MARINE

A splendid result Vaughan. A good choice of scheme. I like a bit of Hi-viz.

Beautiful build vaughan , flawless paintwork and an interesting seldom seen scheme. The photography is superb too , sharp and well lit . Youre on a slippery slope now vaughan , 1/48 scale - before you know it youll be bashing out 1/144 tiddlers !!
              cheers tony

As there isn't a 1/32 scale Fury so I decided to try the Airfix model. Detail is good panel lines may be a little deep but I can live with that. The only issue I had was the engine cowling which Chris resolved with his build so I followed his remedy. There is a choice of three versions Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service. I picked the last version as It has a good colour call out and interesting roundels. Hats off to all you guys that build at this scale and lower as this is pushing my limits with the eyesight. Anyway all comments welcome.
