    Zvezda 1/144 blackjack bomber.

Finished. Was going well until I got a load of dust in the matt coat, the spray booth (carboard box)was a bit dusty! It'll probably show up in pictures but looks passable on the shelf in a cabnet so it won't be getting painted again. Thanks for looking.Click image for larger version

    That’s an impressive-looking plane even in 1:144.

What’s the name on it? Ivan Yarygin? Who is that? (quick search) Oh, a wrestler, apparently. Odd name to paint that large on a bomber, but hey

That looks excellent mark , i know one of the other names was Pavel Taran ( thats the one i used on mine ) and possibly Boris Safonov , cant recall as its a while since i built this kit. Did you use any nose weight? Reason im asking is I didnt when I did mine ,and with the wings in the intermediate position it just sat up a little once the wheels went on . I ended up using some sheet lead for the nose undercarriage doors and that was enough to bring it back to earth!

Thanks tony :thumb2: to be honest I didn't even think about weight until I came to fitting the wheels, thought it might end up in an about to take off position! It was perfectly balanced on just the rear wheels so inserted the front and then slid it back out a bit till it met the ground, it will probably tip if I blow on the tail though!

That's a beauty Mark. It will certainly stand out on the shelf among the camouflaged lot
