I thought I'd have another go at a 1/48th scale model and this one looked interesting and purportedly a 'new' model that we are informed by the box. I'm a bit dubious this looks like a re-boxing of an older kit. One of the wing halves has an area that has been covered. So maybe an older Revell kit with a date stamp on it or maybe an older Monogram kit. Despite this there is great surface and interior detail. There are many parts that are not used in this version and maybe in a future kit these parts will be used. Fit was a bit of an issue engine nacelles were a challenge but I got there in the end. In this version the front canopy is painted but still comes as a clear part. As the Mitchell has tricycle undercarriage I used Liquid Gravity in the nose cone this worked a treat. Decals were good and conformed well. Colour scheme is a little boring Olive drab and medium grey but the model still looks interesting. All comments welcome

Beautifully built and superbly photographed vaughan . It definitely has the look of the old Monogram b25 ( especially as it shares the poor fit of the nacelles) except this has recessed lines so maybe its been reworked . If i had seen the interior before the fuselage was joined I would have had a better idea. Regardless its a first class job , cheers tonyComment

Excellent work Vaughan, exhibiting your trademark sharp finish. Looking at scalemates this kit harks back to Revell in 1968Comment
