Airfix Minikit 1/100 'Zero'

A model boat club member kindly gave me a Airfix minikit of a Zero, these are pre-painted but need assembly.

As some of you are aware, me and the 'wingy-things' have never gotten along but, this would be a easy and relaxing build, it was.

I repainted the pilot and weathered the aircraft, I also was not happy with just the black base so did a water look and made the aircraft into flight configuration.

Enjoyed myself.

Looks good to me Si. 1/100 is quite small, so it would be good to get a shot for scale….

Cheers John, another award for the shelf. The base came out better than I thought, just all paint effects.
