    HobbyBoss 1/72 MiG-3 Easy Assembly - done.

Finished - not one of my better efforts, I'm afraid - I've had problems with weathering on white aircraft before - I either don't do enough, but in this case, too much!

Looks far too grubby, now, but that's it! The model was cheap enough, so I'm not devastated at the result. ( I'm calling it an experiment that didn't turn out as I wanted! )
Fit was near perfect - the main problem was of my own making - I added a pilot & had to major surgery on him before I got the canopy even to fit..............
Anyway, I'm going back to conventional models now.....................

It does look too grubby but still, a nice little fighter.

Dave, he had to fly through the thick smoke of the burning fuel depot he was attacking...
      Nice model. :thumb2:

Maybe you're not satisfied but it looks ok and I would imagine white is a difficult colour to weather.... And let's not talk about my first attempt at weathering a plane!

Plus these builds and build reviews of yours have certainly given me something to be think about for the future with these kits from HobbyBoss.

        Thanks for sharing.
