Hi All,

Just finished this model today and im really pleased with the outcome.

I think im becoming a bit obsessed with the bigger models lol. Got a hurricane in the same scale three quarters done too. Hope you like the messer, all comments are welcome.

Very nice, i'd love to build in this scale, I just have nowhere to display them at that size.

Good job Si. That kit may show its age a bit but it makes an impressive beast. Where are you going to put them all? I had the full set many years ago (Spit,Hurri,Mustang,Stuka and 109) and they've all ended up in the loft in various sorry states.

The Airfix 1/24th Schmitt' is a mint looking model as i've never built one of these i'm pretty jealous of yours.

Simon, a very nice build and superb paint job. I really like the pre-shading that shows through, and the general ageing of the paintwork in excellent.

Thank you all for the nice comments.....i like the paint, but most of the pre shading is done with pastels. it works a treat....just starting to finish the hurricane. making a little dio for it ill post some piccies when done.
