Supermarine Walrus Mk I, Airfix, 1/48

Just finished this one today. One I missed first time around but found it by chance on a Danish Web shop!
A lovely kit to build. I will say now it is not 100% rigged. What is rigged has been done with wire. A bit thick but hey ho.

    Paint is all model air.

    Cheers

Looks excellent Ian. Really nice finish.
        Got a question if I mayโ€ฆ..
Can you build this with folded wings? Hope so because the wingfold is really interesting. Not something that would fill you with confidence in the air, but interesting nonetheless.

Great to see this, actually. Quite an unusual subject. If you stand in front of the one at Yeovilton it really is amazing how much it looks like a boat with wings, especially the front of the fuselage. Quite crude construction, with only the cabin (which looks just like a cabin cruiser) covered in, and the open gun positions looking very much like they have come from WW1, but it was effective in use.
