Revell 1/72 B17-G.... 'Little Miss Mischief' A cut out model.

Having a tidy up and realised I haven't posted this finished aircraft.

Bewildered, bruised, battered, bent, butchered, yet still flying....Just! This is the look I've tried to paint into the model. I replicated the bit of flak damage by simply flicking a bit of silver paint at the model.......

I haven't been at all fussy and faffed about with this and that paint finish, I wanted the aircraft to look knackered and well used! I hope it worked

Excellent kit. To make the already excellent interior detail a bit more 'busy', I used plastic card and 'things' from my bits bag,

During the build, I got a bit too excited and made a bit of a 'Ball's Up' and cut out the fuselage where the nose art etc. decals should have been placed, :upside: so I've shoved them on as best I can.

All brush painted using Vallejo 'Air' acrylics.

The history of this B17 (Or should it be two?) makes interesting reading.

    Here's the model.

    Ron,

You're an absolute modelling genius in my eyes. Yet again a great idea brilliantly presented!

    Very well done indeed.

If this does not win the forum's canine testicular award, I will be staggered

    Simply brilliant.
