    dads yet again. the yellow fusalage stripe was only at beale afb. sr pilots used the t-38 as thier trainers. exhibited alot of the same characteristics. wanted to distinguish thier t-38 from the others used in the air force

      There's certainly some interesting and varied aircraft there. Are these kits or scratch built models? You father certainly sounds like he has had a varied career, did you follow him into the Air Force?

          i didnt follow into the air force but did my service inthe coast guard.

          these are kits. some of wich he collected before i was even born. planned to build them himself but now that hes gotten the time, he feels he doesnt have hands steady enough to do the work. and seeing some of the detail ive put into my own models has asked if i would do them for him.

          each plane is an exact replica of the one he flew including tail numbers and other specific squadron marks.
