    Fw190D-9 of JV44 "Wurgerstaffel"

I'm calling this done (I'll mess with it for weeks!). I just re-read Jerry Crandall's profile of "Red 1" and apparently I shouldn't have fitted the loop antenna under this one. Oh well too late now! It's something I may mess with later.

It's been fun to build, particularly in the context of the GB.

I'd recommend this kit to anybody contemplating a large scale Dora. Nice fit and some clever solutions to things often got wrong in other kits. The way the undercarriage is set is a good example,it's impossible to set the angles wrong!

    Anyway here it is.

    Steve

BTW couldn't take a better underside photo due to lack of photographic skill.... and coordination!

That is the bizz! You have really made a great good of this one.

Clean build, perfect paint. not a lot to say other than can I give six stars for this one.

Might I suggest that you try placing it on a mirror tile when displaying it. Saw one on t'interwww and it shows it off very well.

Lets face it there is no way to take a photo of the underside with out laying it on ita back or holding in your hand.

I might just have to get me one of those.

Thanks for all the kind words,I'm glad you like it. I have to say again that it's a lovely kit to build which is a great aid to the modeller! I'm going to try and check everyone elses before I get dragged out the door (by order of senior management)

                  Cheers

                  Steve

Very nice Steve, love the imagination that has gone into these builds, apart from mine that is..... Not an easy scheme to take on so I cannot argue with the 5 stars.

That is an awesome bit of work Steve! I didn't think you'd top your Ju-88 but this proves me wrong! Top-class paintwork as usual & all the little details that make it a pleasure to look at.

5 stars are very much deserved.

This is truly top drawer stuff Steve. The underside is a cracking example of your painting skills.

                        Big five, well deserved.

Superb Dora mate. No expert on 190s but I do know those markings and your finish is brilliant. Looks a very handsome model.
