New Revell 1/72 Avro Lancaster with alot of modifications. [pics]

    Hi Guys.

Heres the new Revell Lancaster in a form i think no one has seen before because i've seriously corrected this kit to make it look more like an a original Lancaster.

I have cut the wings to add the dihedral angle to it.

Removed Revells original nacelles and replaced with Airfix Lancaster nacelles.

    Added Airfix mainwheels.

    Re-profiled tail wheel.

    PE flaps.

    Cut and re-set tail planes.

Altered the upper turret fairing ring.

    Airfix Lancaster front turret.

Removed Revells Turret hood and replaced with the Airfix one[The turret hood is the tear drop shaped part which is on the front section of the fuselage above front turret]

Three exposed engines with spinners removed.

    Corrected front upper escape hatch.

Resin guns used instead of Revells poor attempt.

This Lancaster is made up to resemble VN * T. R5546 of 50Sqd RAF Swinderby

This was lost on Nuremberg raid 30/31 March 1944.

Wow! you certainly put a lot into that one. Beautiful result. I know you've built many very fine Lancasters,it makes me think I should have a bash at my "new" Tamiya 1/48!
