FINISHED HobbyBoss Sturmovik Il-2

Hi All

Well at last this Russian bird is complete. As I said in my thread build that HobbyBoss had over complicated things which did make construction difficult in places but I did get there in the end.

I opted for the Russian Green version but maybe next time I will have a go at the winter camo. All in all a great model to build but you will need a large shelf to put it on with a wing span of 43cm.

Beautiful job Vaughan. Tricky business that sort of Olive Drab type of colour,whatever the Soviets called it,and yours looks great.

Superb finish Vaughan, really clean and a beautiful build. I haven't seen many single seat IL2s about.
