Revell 1/32 Bristol Beaufighter Mk IF

    Hi Everyone,

Im really enjoying my modelling at the moment, had this model sitting around and i really fancied doing it similar to the mossie that i made earlier in the year. I didnt know that it was 38 years old when i started it but it went together so well.

One of the first models i made was a revell 1/32 JU 88, it was horrible. But this was an absolute brilliant build compared to that.

I hope you guys like it and if there are any comments and things wrong please tell me.

    Cheers

Very nice Simon. Great crisp look to the finish.

Not tried a 1/32 but it must be more difficult to get a great finish like this than a 1/48scale.

Did great service during WW11 against intruders. Great book by Rawnsley & Wright. Rawnsley was navigator to Pilot Cat's Eyes Cunningham one of the great exponents of night fighting. Night fighting was a new air war & this crew took a new aircraft & then developed a night fighting to a great level.

Great build simon, looks excellent in the night fighter camo especially next to the mossie! I hope Revell re-issue this one as I want to do another (I did mine in the earth brown /green /sky camo) , maybe as a mk X or a Aussie DAP mk 21 . cheers tony
