    Airfix 1/72 Junkers Ju52 3m

A build of Airfix's Ju52, which is I believe, still in production. The kit has a float plane option, which means that Airfix made gaping holes in the underside and wing roots for the float system. If you are building a land aeroplane version you will need a lot of filler and patience. This one was very old, the decals were unusable so replacements were sourced from an ancient He111 sheet.

    Build thread here: http://www.scale-models.co.uk/planes-helicopters/17870-1-72-airfix-junkers-ju-52-a.html

A great build Joe with some tricky masking on the corrugated fuselage which looks to have worked really well. 5*

Great work. A very simple colour scheme but very effective.

Very nice work! I guess masking the corrougated plastic was quite challenging
