Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon 1B

Here is my latest build, the Hasegawa Typhoon 1B. I added a Barracuda radiator and exhausts, True Details wheels, and a Quickboost seat with straps. Despite it's age, still a very nice model!

Very nice model looks the real thing. This was my first model built but in 1/72 so it has a fascination. Nice looking aircraft as well. It has that bulldog look. Would not like to have been in a tank with that aircraft bearing down on you. Equally I would not have like to have been a Taxi rank Tiffy pilot. They had a tough time in Normandy & lost a lot of aircraft & pilots.

I have one of these in my stash and every time I open the box, look at the rather bland and boring bits of plastic in it and put the lid back on.

After having seen this, I can see that it can look very good built up.

A great build and fantastic paint job. Five stars just ain't enough!
