    Academy A-10A thunderbolt II 1/72

Well i'm back! and i bring you pics of my newly built A-10. She's been a bit of a pain to build but i think it was worth it. As all my models i brush painted and overall this was a great model to build. But beware the decals ARE brittle and you're gonna need a lot of filler!

Hi dan , nice job. Im surprised you say it needed a lot of filler, academy are usually very nice fitting kits, -it turned out fine though. cheers tony

Great job on the camo Dan, love the looks of the A-10. I'm surprised too, Academy and filler don't normally go together lol.

      Have fun, John

        Thanks for the comments :grinball2:

And from raves about academy kits before i wasnt expecting to fill much but it is needed on most of the joints around the fuselage and certainly on the bombs as there are pin marks on basically every one!!! But apart from that its a great kit to make (though i got frustrated at times) and im sure the paint would look better with an airbrush.
