    Thanks Francesco, the kit comes with an assortment of canopies, armoured and unarmoured, I think it looks thicker because of the angel of the picture.

    Cheers Colin, yeah LOL, but she's a bit too fast for me to get a decent first coat on. I know what you mean about the sound, lovely noise.

      I've made one of these old kits.Not the best spitfire kit and certainly not up to today's moulding standards.But you've made a great job of it Tony.
