Heller 1/72 scale Morane Saulnier MS 225

Heres one ive just finished, the old Heller Morane Saulnier ms 225. I didnt bother with a build thread as it was fairly OOB, just some masking tape harnesses and a bit of rigging being added. Entirely brush painted with games workshop and vallejo paints . heres the pics , comments criticisms etc welcome cheers tony

The sun quietly sets on the aircraft, silently waiting on the grass.......

Excellent model Tony, another neat and tidy build from the yak face stable.

    Great pictures too!

    Top work....

        Lovely job Tony

And yet another example from our "hairy stick" stable showing airbrushes can be equaled in finish quality.

Funnily enough there actually was an aerobatic team in the 30's that used this aircraft, the Patrouille Dijon , see here http://aerobaticteams.net/patrouille-dijon.html look at pic 2 , either theres some crazy manouevre going on or theyre the worlds worst formation flyers !!LOL!!

Really nice build, Tony. Now there's one you don't see every day, and used in an aerobatic team, you say............off to Fleabay it is then......

the 2 that look like they are about to crash into each other are probably the ones that are tied (roped) together.

                        Seems too risky for me...

Great build indeed - and can I second Dave's congratulations on the laminated effect on the propeller. That's fantastic in 1:72 (or an other scale for that matter).

Thanks everyone for the great comments ,glad you like it. It isnt something you see every day , i guess thats why it appealed to me, and some of these old heller kits can be very nice to build . I was very chuffed with the pics too , ive been trying out my new camera , I think the last pic turned out really well. thanks tony
