    Spitfire Mk. VI, 124 Sq 1941 - Italeri 1/72

During the February of 1941 the RAF decided to prepare a new version of the Spitfire capable to intercept possible high quote incursions of new german bombardiers as the Ju-86.

With this aim the Spitfire Mk. VI (type 350) was developed with a higher wing area, recognizable for the triangular wing tips, and with a pressurized cabin.

Of this model only less thsn hundred were built and used in 1943, soon replaced by the more performing Mk. VII.

Still been a fantastic build, inclusive, with "all your errors", as you said

    Very nice!

      Looking good Francesco.

It's always nice to see a well built Spit, and even better when it's one of the lesser seen marks.
