Very nice indeed, love the subtle ali tones, paint-job and weathering on the tip tanks. Great build, looks tops.

Nice looking shooting star mate. The paint looks great with some nice weathering.

Very nice! How was the build of the kit? any issues with it or after market goddies in it?

Thanks for all your comments. The metal finish was done with Humbrol aluminium from a rattle can, and then masking off random panels to be done with different shades of Alclad. Weathering done with a liberal oil wash of lamp black/ burnt sienna mix, and then Vallejo Matt varnish to dull everything down. It's a good build on the whole; all goes together well with minimal filler. Good detail in the cockpit, helped by a photo-etch fret for the seat belts provided in the kit. A full review is in this month's edition of SAMI, page 166.

Great build and a very successful painting.

I also have this kit in my storage. How was the assembly? In some German forums it was differentially evaluated.

Some called this kit to be very good, others had much to criticize.
