    Ian M's Lightning

Well it was a fight to the line. Bits breaking off and several vanishing parts as well....

Still it don't look bad and it will get a place in the display.

Lovely result Ian, especially considering the difficulties you went through with it. If I ever see one of these at a reasonable price I'll pick one up.

Really really nice Ian! I love that burnished look of the paintwork, it makes it look so realistic as it fits the scale so well.

That's an impressive example of one of the most impressive aircraft in history.

                  5 stars all the way.

                  Cheers Patrick

                            WOW! Thanks lads!

It's the 1/48 scale one Alan. Forgot to mention it in the header.

The Aclads went on well but I was not to happy about the wash. I used a different varnish than normal and it didn't rub off to easy, the wash that is, the Alclad rubs off very easy!

Still turned out well in the end. I had to repaint the tanks though as the wash took a good bite of the finish off!!

The next one is going to be a camo job thats for sure!
