Summery - Trumpeter 1/32 P-40b Tomahawk Mk2a of #2 sqn South African Air Force , Libya 1941 flown by F/O Aitken.
Built OOB except for PE harnass and Tallyho decals.
Piants all enamles with future mattcoat.
I tried to simulate the soot stains that the rear exhaust stubs would have from the ones infront of them.Hence the forward one is claener . They were painted rust with black drybrushing.
I also drybrushed silver to the rear faces (more towards the tip) and leading edges of the props as the sand would blast the paint off.
On the bottom I "chipped" with silver on the areas where stone damage would occur on grave strips. Aswell as on the leading edges of the stabs
