    Completed 1/144 scale Zvezda Ju-87

One would think that for a snap-tite, non-glue, no painting instructions kit, that it could be done in 15 minutes. Well, you'd be correct. I bought it for 2 pound equivalent, so I guess that's not really an issue. But the plastic had a weird sheen to it, even after it was washed and primed.

I also had to dig out my luftwaffe squadrons book for a paint job, since this "kit" did not have one. I really think it was not intended to be painted. There were only like 8 decals that were appropriate, the rest I had to hand paint. Except for the swastikas which came (like the underwing bombs) from the 144 scale "262". And like a chaude, I did not check my directions before applying them, and they are on tilted at the wrong angle. Whatever.

In any case, here she is, long over due, ready for a roasting...

That's really good Steve! Hard to believe it's in such a tiny scale!

    Cheers

And most of the detail I had to put on it myself. Although, for as little as I paid for it, I'm not totally unhappy. And it will look good all tucked away with the other 144 scale airfield. Next up, U23...

Yep, a tidy job Steve, nice work on that cockpit glazing too, can't have been easy in such a small scale. All it needs is an aerial mast.

Looks really nice Steve, wouldn't have guessed it's as a snap-together model.

Great build Steve, beats me how you guys can get that quality of paint finish at that scale. Cheers Derek
