Bowcat's Completed 1/48 Tamiya A-10A Thunderbolt II (Ian M's Airplane with Winter camo GB)

Hi Guys,

This is my entry for Ian's GB, the much loved Hog in experimental snow camo.

This is only the 2nd aircraft I've built, so some mistakes were made and still a lot of learning to do. However, as a dedicated tank guy I have really enjoyed this build and definitely want to try more aircraft.

Mostly built OOB, I added some PE for the cockpit, a resin bang seat and a brass GAU-8 30mm cannon. Presented on a quick and dirty base made of pizza bases. :tears-of-joy:

That's a cracker of a build I like the cockpit detail in fact I like it all.

Bob, superb workmanship there, a beautiful build.
