    Peterairfix's 1\72 airfix spitfire (starter set GB)

    This my second and final kit and it wasn't too much of a horror story the Matt paints only needed three coats and I took the tip to discard the tail decal stripe and I painted one on and the decals went on without to much drama.Click image for larger version

    Where's the starboard serial Peter? Your decals certainly have less silvering than mine. Your paintwork must be smoother.

        I did put it on but by the looks of it I must have taken it off by accident if you look closely you can see where it was.

          I blame the carpet monster's cousin, the decal imp.
          They don't seem to stick very well do they.

            I didn't even dare touch the area's close to the decals on mine as they looked they could fall off with the slightest touch.
