AlanG's 1/32 Revell Bf109 G6/R6 from 3./JG300 (Nightfighter GB)
Hi Alan
Great looking 109 nightfighter. The mottling and wing camouflage is spot on. I’ve read through the build log too and can see you’ve overcome a few setbacks (to me the journey is always as important as the end result). I think you may have your wing and fuselage crosses mixed up The fuselage ones should be on the wings and vice versa.
Nope they are correct(ish). I just painted them wrong as i added the white cross to the wrong black cross. Still happy with it though lol :smiling3:
I think the wing crosses should just be the thin variety outlined (no black infill).
So long as your happy that’s all that matters. :thumb2: :tongue-out:
You know something. You are right. I never actually saw that in all the time i looked at the picture. Time i get my eyes tested (been eight years lol). Still happy though

You’re not alone with a mistake like that. if you remember my 1/32 Stuka (a long time ago) I managed to apply the unit emblems the wrong way round. Luckily I was able to rectify it later on, but it took some doing. A couple of the guys on here let me know my mistake and I’m glad that they did.
As I said previously though the camouflage and mottling are top notch.
Cheers
Paul
It's catch up day for me, hence my late response to your build. Right were was I. Yes, splendid build. Weathering is great, especially the difficult (to weather) dark underside.
Like Colin, I am catching up too and what a super job on the whole build. Clean, with a super finish too. I only see one prob here Sir, there are no dead bugs on the canopy to be seen!!!
