Steve's Airfix 1/72 Boulton Paul Defiant BoB Group Build - COMPLETED

I've managed to get this one done in time to scrape under the wire before the Air Ministry decided that what we call the Battle of Britain concluded at the end of this month. It's a nice little kit, any flaws are down to the bloke building it and not intrinsic to the kit

    There's a bit of a build thread here: https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threa...defiant.36203/

And here is one of my virtual walkarounds of the completed kit.

Well done Steve! I like the photos too, something I keep meaning to spend more time on.

Great work as always Steve. Very nicely done indeed.

Out of interest, is the background entirely photograph or is any of it modelled? It is nice to have them in front of something I think.

It's just a backdrop like the railway modelling fraternity use.
I just Blutac the back scene onto a box file, butt the grass mat up to it, stick the model close to the back scene (it's probably about an inch away) and take a few snaps. I'm definitely no photographer, so if I can do it anyone can

                      Cracking finish Steve.
...and very nicely presented. A good background makes all the difference to the final presentation.

Trust a farmer to have one of these in his field!
                      Top work.
