    Mick’s Academy 1/32 Sopwith Camel F1(papa 695’s Bi-plane GB

Firstly many thanks to Ian for getting this GB off the ground. I’ve enjoyed putting this one together and even with very few parts it’s still taken me a while. I know it’s not accurate when it comes to its rigging but they’ve made it much easier than using turnbuckles etc. The instructions relating to the rigging aren’t quite right and a little misleading but I’ve done my own thing as I know Ian is too, so here she is.

Top job Mick, well done. On the subject of rigging, I read once that most slow speed crashes, landing /take off sort of thing, would have been survivable. But once the tensioned rigging started break and whip around, that's when the 'damage' was done.

Thanks Mike, quite pleased as it's the first hand painted kit I've done in a long time

Thanks Colin, they were certainly brave to fly those things

Cheers Ian, they make it reasonably easy when you disregard their instructions
