Tonys Arma hobby 1/72 Hurricane mk1 finished

Heres the Arma hobby mk1 Hurricane finished as V-7476 , the only hurricane to wear RAAF colours , this machine being sent to Australia for a trial . Used mainly for training and communications duties it was later repainted silver . A very nice kit , just a few little blips to be aware of ( see build log here - https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threa...k1-trop.43164/

Comparitively speaking, that colour scheme looks really strange on a Hurri, as opposed to something like a Buffalo or a Wirraway

    Nice tho'

        Very nice and neat Tony
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Lovely result Tony, as I said in your build thread that's a rare scheme which you have captured nicely. Will look good parked next to your Boomerang. A nice in-flight photo of this Hurricane on the Australian War Memorial website: https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/128851

A beautifully built model. I especially like the small details and the wave transition of the camouflage paint on the stern.
Although I have to admit that at first I thought that there were still red dots missing from the decals! :tears-of-joy:

That is excellent Tony. I think the camo colours suit it. Great job.

Thanks everyone for the positive reception , I do love the Aussie colours , and Joe - I’ll try and get a pic with the Boomerang ( I could have had one with the Vengeance, Spitfire Vc and p40e too but they all got moved on ages ago on Ebay!)
