Thanks everyone for the great comments . I tried to get the base to look like the 2nd pic in this excellent walkaround http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/paul_tosney/puma_hc1/index.php?Page=2 I also made a wheel chock like pic 7 but put it on the other side . I'd recommend this kit in any of its various boxings (theres a gulf war desert pink boxing as well as this one) its a great build and can usually be found fairly cheap , cheers tonyComment

Thanks andy, if you were ground crew then maybe you could shed some light on something for me? While looking at reference pics of the rotor head and tail rotor I noticed that there were different colour bands painted at the base of each blade , i replicated these on the model but still dont know the reason for them. I presumed it was so they went back where they came from if disassembled , maybe the unit is finely balanced a bit like a car wheel ? cheers tonyComment
