Yes, pretty much. Certainly their attention to detail is admirable, though one of the ladies yesterday did have on a pair of shoes identified by SWMBO as coming from Hobbs and not being strictly authentic. They looked fine to me!

I usually have a quick chat with the odd re-enactor. I think it was at Duxford a few years ago that there were a bunch of guys representing a B-17 crew. They had all the kit, heated suits, survival gear, parachutes, you name it. I asked one how much his gear had cost and he replied 'thousands', which makes building models seem like a very cheap option

Some great shots despite the rain will have to make the effort to get there one day, I have no excuses as I'm just over an hour away.
