    Can you help me please?

    Thanks

The RAF didn't do it as far as I know and I can't think of anything the Americans did either. Maybe the Russians?

    Cheers

The soviets did a lot of winter camo , some more temporary than others . Two that stand out as being most common are the IL 2 stormovik and the MiG 3 , there are some well documented photos of Stormoviks with faded, worn whitewash , maybe your next aircraft could be the Hobbyboss 1/32 in winter camo next Polux?!! It would look great next to the stuka.Just Google IL2 winter camo and select Images , theres loads, cheers tony

No mate Stevens right we didn't do a winter camo but that doesn't mean we didn't give it some thought

        You could a what if

When you see some of the things we did try during the war a winter camo might have been aplyed just once

It's beyond the realms of possibility

We just don't get snow on the ground for very long, if at all, in any given winter. I'm sure that's why it wasn't considered worth the effort of developing winter camouflage. It came as a bit of an afterthought to the Germans too, and then only because they were caught in Russia unexpectedly (for them) over winter, or several winters.

          Cheers

The motive is simple, I love the winter scheme and camouflages....doesn't matter if is over a tank or plane

Just wondering if there is a different camo for the Thypoon, I don't specially like the box colour version....but seems, as Steve has said, there isn't any winter versions on the allieds band...

Now I have a problem!!! I have to change my Thypoon for a Focke 109 at 1/24???!!

How about a 1/24 Harrier in winter camo.
