    List of new kit releases for 2014/15

    See this link

    http://www.cybermodeler.com/special/2015_acft_manuf.shtml

    For me the notable releases are all in 1/32 scale;

    The new tool Beaufighter from Revell in November 2014 - in spite of my dislike for Revel if they have done this well I will just have to get it....

    Then there is the Tamiya Corsair, bubble top version. I just might have to get it and have perhaps the birdcage as a RN bird and do the bubbletop as a USN or USMC bird....

    But king of them all must be the Lancaster B1 in glorious 1/32 scale..... I might have to find an aircraft hanger to display it in if I get it.

    Great list Barry , but a word of warning regarding the 1/32 beaufighter , its the old tool in a shiny new box. It makes a passable beau but if you want any semblance of accuracy theres several areas that need addressing in quite major fashion (ask me how I know!) Still, its a lot of plastic for around £22 !!cheers tony

        Ive had a look on their website and it does say 'new' but if you look at the promo shots of the new box ,it shows the pics on the side of a completed model , and you can tell by looking at the low parts count (110) ,the shallow wheel wells ,the fictitious cockpit bulkhead and the incorrectly teardrop shaped rear bubble canopy that its the old moulding . Seems they need to emphasise that its just new to the shelves after a few years rest and not a new tooling , cheers tony

                  Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
                  Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

                      I saw some place advertising a Concord in 1/48 the other day. That would be a size.

                        But where on earth would you put it??

                        The 1/72 was big enough.
