    Airfix 1/24 spitfire vb

can anyone tell me if I will have problems building this kit complete with the engine fully covered up ?

I had big problems with the 109 because it didn't tell me to leave bits off the engine if you want it as a complete model

    Thanks in advance

You could wait for those of us building on for the SSIG next year to see what the problems are. I'm building the same model

I would say wait until the SSiG and get all the help you need there. It is kainda what they are all about.

Nah I'm in the mood for a practice and seeing as it's a spit I'm not too bothered about getting it spot on and this might be the only time I get to build it with all the other stuff I want to build next year

I've seen a few of these built with the wing dihedral all wrong.Viewed from the front the wings looked flat/Horizontal.So that's something to be careful of.Peter Airfix's was one of the better ones Ive seen.

I remember you mentioning that at Telford mate , I've just had a look and they look ok but I'm thinking it might be a problem with the wing roots on the upper side forcing them down.

                            I'll find out soon
