    Aircraft Rigging. Walrus 1/72

Building a Walrus 1/72. Bi Sea Plane.

This has a load, a real load, of the disastrous and daunting rigging.

On the real thing on the end of each rigging there is a terminal used on yachts to adjust the tension. On a 1/72 this is going to be difficult (perhaps not possible).

Using for the rigging elasticated thread which I have used before for radio antennae which has been successful.

Any imaginative and bright ideas, from the Professors of this forum, will be gratefully received.

When youv'e fitted the rigging Laurie just put a little dab of super glue on the rigging where you need it then when dry just paint it what colour you want at 1/72 it should look fine.

Laurie, I needed a similar set up for the adjusters on my 1/144 U Boat's rigging. I used a tiny amount of polystyrene glue - applied with a cocktail stick. This gave a nice scale 'bump' which when painted looked fine.

It should look o.k. for the scale you are working in....Over to the proper riggers on here!

At 1/72 scale I would think they are all but invisible. I would go for stretched sprue and joss-sticks...
