Searching an interesting Focke Wulf 190 Photography.

    Good morning all!

    Well...I'm searching it!

In a few days some of us will start the 1/24 SSIG. I will try on it (Typhoon) a new painting skills, and that means one or more days waiting for the dry time. So I've decided to build a little new tooling Airfix FW190 at same time!

I'm looking for a good picture, just to join on the Photo GB!

    After a google search...any convince me...O_o

    Can you help me please?

    Thanks

    Polux

FYI the one of Priller, Black 13 and car is a colourised version of a black and white original.

I've got hundreds of Fw 190 pictures in Peter Rodeicke's 'Focke-Wulf 190 Jagdflugzeug' book alone. Let me know which versions the kit covers and I'll have a look tomorrow when I get home.

            Cheers

Nice kit, but you won't be doing Prillers 'Black 13' from it

I think I built the winter camouflaged kit option in a larger scale a while back. If you want to do a winter scheme I'm sure there are pictures of F-8s in a variety of such schemes. An A-8 would much more likely be in a more standard fighter camouflage scheme.

                    Cheers

Ah! That means, F-8 is winter camo and A-8 is simple figther camo..?

Polux I did a F8 in winter colours a while back. It was a Fw190 F8 (Red 9) from II./SG2 based in Hungary in 1944. Have a look on the forum for it or check out my blog in my signiture

Some of the winter camouflage schemes on the JG 54 aircraft (with the green heart under the cockpit and I./JG 54 shield on the cowling, actually the coat of arms of Nuremberg) are earlier versions of the Fw 190.

The ones with the squiggle applied are F-8s.

                              Cheers
