Indeed Steve. These kits are going for a lot of money on eBay. Airfix are apparently going to rerelease the kit though later this year. That should cut the feet away from the eBay pirates!!!

Big as it is and excellent in itself it still has a lot of the Airfix issues.

It will be that HKM 1/32 kit I will be after. It really looks to be a state of the art tooling. Big bucks though I expect. A guess would be around £150. Amazingly there are rumours that Tamiya will be releasing a 1/32 Mossie as well maybe this or next year.

Will I be able to restrict myself to the HKM one only or will I just have to lash out on the Tamiya one as well? It is a Mossie and I am sure I can find room for two in 1/32 even if I have no room for a single 1/24.

They both look very nice and shows how far Airfix have come.

But I think I will stick to 1/48. Airfix 1/24 wow I can see it hovering over my bed cos there ain't any where else it could go.

Look forward to someone here having a go at either model.

The Mossi looks really cool but what's happened to the Lanc? That's the HK model I'm really looking forward to.

That said, i'll be adding one of these to the collection too, all being well.

Si. The Lanc remains under development. I read somewhere that they realised they had some accuracy issues and had to make some changes so the release is delayed. The last I heard was November 2015.
