Hi all me and the missus are looking at duxford ( never been before), terrible when you consider its only 30 miles down the road. So which is the best day VE day or Battle of Britain day.

Any day is good in my opinion.
I have been a number of times and booked into local B&B's, as there is just too much to take in on one day!
Definitely worth a visit.
Strange how we can live next to something, and not visit it. We have the largest marine aquarium in the UK here in Hull 'THE DEEP'
Went to visit it for the first time last year, even though it has been open for years. Been back twice as I enjoyed it that much!
Were strange people to travel hundreds of miles to see things, but ignore what is on our doorstep!!

To be honest, I'd give both those days a wide berth! The crowds and subsequent traffic nightmares are legend on these "special" days, I love going when it's quiet, you get to see so much more!Comment
