Hi there,
I am new to this forum and requesting help with seven models I have recently unearthed. They are all wooden models sold by Space Models in the 1990's I believe.
What I know - Space Models started off by making pro models for the aviation companies back in the 90's (I think), and then went on to making models for genuine release. I can date my seven models as the sticker on their bases have a London 'phone number starting in an 01 dialing code, which dates them to pre-1998. I have one Tornado (possibly resin), and six wooden models, a SEPCAT Jaguar, two Jet Provosts, a larger BAE Tornado, two English Electric Lightnings, and a BAE Hawk. I have trawled all the forums and can find no info or pictures of these so I think they may be quite hard to find and rare.
What I don't know - what the heck are they? The models must be 20 or so years old, possibly made for the RSAF directly or even maybe prototypes - but they all bear the Space Models sticker on the underside of the fuselage - giving provenance to their genuine nature.
I would appreciate any help from any member you may know more about these models and the company who made them. I have included a picture of the seven items and have individual ones should that help!
Thanks in advance,
Markie
