    Revell Apache 1/48

As part of my Afghanistan collection I wanted to get the Apache.

Any info. on how good it is- or not- will be gratefully received.

I want to build in British markings either army or RAF.

Thought. Or any other Apache model. 1/48

The Revell offering has markings for a British version of the long bow. (the one with the radar atop the rotors. It also has pilot figures.

Reviews are mixed, but generally on the good side more than the bad. I think a few rivet counters have picked at some of the details...

Im not 100% sure but I think its a Revell rebox of the Hasegawa kit, which has had pretty good reviews. Over 300 parts too! Should keep you busy for a while..

    A very mean looking machine.

        Laurie,

The Apache is operated by the British Army, the Royal Air Force does not operate attack helicopters; they just carry the Army.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.
