Also, the harrier is quite an old kit, with raised panel lines. It is about time Tamiya made a new harrier. Additionally, it would be great if they stepped up their decal quality.
I have a good 20-30 Tamiya kits, but 75% of them have AM decals. Last one I did was the spit MK Vb Trop in 1/48, and when I put the stencils in the water, they literally desintegrated. However, I am not dismissing them. They are great kits, but not so great decals.

John I never put my decals in water, used to, but not now. I very lightly spray the backing paper and leave until the decal will just slide.
Yep....I guess I can credit that to age, but I seem to feel a certain difference in brittleness between Tamiya decals and hobbyboss, revell, hasegawa decals. They seem less brittle
