    A naval version for Warhawk?

    I share with you some pictures of fighters Curtiss P-40 operating aboard aircraft carriers or on the flight deck. Some questions for aviation and history enthusiasts of WW2.       There was never a navalised version of the Curtiss P-40. The pictures you have there are of USAAF P-40 Warhawks being launched from USS Ranger during Operation Torch in North Africa. It was a resupply mission rather than any carrier-borne strike or other operation. The British did similar resupplies of fighters to Malta from their carriers using Spitfires.
