I don't recommend parking it on railroad crossings!
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Kitech is one manufacturer of model kits I avoid. Having said that peter, a quick check online shows this is in fact highly likely a direct Monogram rip off so you might be okay with it. A write up on the 'Blue Thunder' kits here: http://scalemodelingdomain.blogspot.co.nz/2015/01/blue-thunder-movie-and-her-132-scale.html

Kitech is a manufacturer that I also avoid. I picked up an Aardvark in 1/48 from them and it was literally s**t. Keep dry fitting, but if you manage to get some good results, I will be greatly impressed
