    cloudy canopy help.

    I have stupidly. Over sprayed satin varnish on clear plastic. Any way back??? Help!!!

    I think nail polish remover will take it off. But i'm sure the other guys will correct me if i'm wrong

      What type of varnish? Acrylic or enamel will dictate how you deal with it but, if acrylic, just a fine overspray might be saved with a dip in Kleer.

        Yep! need to know what type of varnish. If it hasn't clouded the plastic and is just a coat of varnish it should be saveable.

        I'd be wary of nail varnish remover as it contains acetone which can do bad things to some plastics. I've never used it on a clear part so I may be over cautious,maybe Allyne will give us a bit more info.

          Steve i always try something like that on the clear bit of sprue that the canopy came from before i actually use it. As you say different plastics react differently
