I could be totally wrong here, but maybe not.


I think it was you Steve that demonstrated the art of camouflage showing us a pic of a Me 109 (maybe) flying over a rock strewn desert. The camo on that plane was brilliant.

I'm going to say not this one! It doesn't matter how you camouflage the aircraft that dust would be visible for miles!

Yeah that 1st 109 shot is quality, that would be very very difficult to see from height or distance wouldn't it, especially as everything back in them days was in black and white

That first Bf109 pic reminds me of the one the Daily Star used many years ago to show the B17 supposedly found on the moon!

The top picture. Have you got basically the same picture, but in colour and maybe heading the other way ? That's what I seem to remember. I'm being a bit fussy now...................
