This site is really a good place to gain ideas

Well I think I have been on this forum for almost a year if not longer but it's really getting me into other subjects that I really would not have thought of doing. I would comment to my wife I wish I could do a tank like that or a particular aircraft ( through here though I have found lots of tips and still while doing other projects my mind is racing to the next... Aghhh

Right currantly im involved in the GB modern jets build and I'm thinking to my next Jet ( I never built jets before but I'm really enjoying my J10

    So what's next

    1/48 F16

    1/48 F22 Raptor

    1/48 Mig 29

    1/48 Su34

1/48 F15/F14 eagle ( or is it tomcat)

I'll still be doing my other projects ( WW1 dio ) WW2 dio

Can anyone suggest a good 1/48 Jet fighter kit ?

    Open to suggestions

    Regards

    Robert

I don't know much about modern jets Rob, but I'd definitely say to avoid the Revell 1/48 "Black Tomcat". It's moulded in black plastic, which is almost as bad as white plastic, has raised panel lines & is a bugger to build.

The reason I warn you is that it often appears at a cheap price on eBay

I hear rave reviews about the Eduard 1/48 Mig-21, I have three in my stash and can't wait to get started in the Mig-21 GB later this year.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

          Hi Robert.

I built this kit a few years back and really enjoyed it.

Just looked at this kit and seems it has a few possible upgrades, did you think it needs any?

            Were there any fit issues?

I've seen some nice possible decals if I go for this

I just built it out of the box.
