    Avro Shackleton

Have you seen how many Shackletons are being built at the moment ? Now I thought the Harrier was a popular aircraft, but this Shackleton thing, looks just as popular, maybe more so.

And why not. Four engines, eight propellers and loads of noise - it had to be a favourite aircraft.

As a young boy I saw one fly at an air show, and was mesmerised for ever. I think the sky's are a bit quieter these days.
