    Any ideas what this is?

I thought you aircraft wallahs would like this.....

I've just come back from wandering in the S.W. of France and came across this in a farm yard!!

    Any ideas what it is?

I could only take one quick picture as it was occupied by a very large and nasty dog, who took great exception to me taking a photo of his 'Kennel'!

    Cheers,

    Ron

Eyup matey! Hope you both had a great time at the chateau. It looks to me like the forward fuselage of an aircraft,,,,only kidding, its the front bit of a Nord Noratlas , french twin boom transport , a bit similar to the fairchild c119 packet in looks . Certainly makes a different garden shed, i wonder if the owner uses it as his modelling place, we could get his picture in 'boys and girls sheds' !!!! cheers tony

Thanks fellas, I knew my mates would give me the answer dead quick like!

I told a friend over there what I had found and he said these bits of fuselage are quite common in rural France. I thought I had stumbled across summat unique!!

        Thanks again,

        Ron
