Providing you have registration you can obtain from Autocad a replacement manual.
You should also have a HELP built in to the programme which will tell you in great detail what to do.
Use AutoCad help line either by phone or email.
Failing all of that try locating a Forum where the users of this programme congregate.
May be wrong but doubt that many if any will have this information.
Can you not take the PDF & convert using a file conversion system before importing into AutoCad?

Hi Dennis, I have Autocad 2004 running on Windows XP and as far as I know you cannot print to a PDF unless you have Adobe or similar PDF converter as I have. I use Amyuni PDF Converter which is a lot cheaper, simpler and quicker than Adobe. The PDF converter software appears as another printer on your list of printers, and you have to set this to your default printer before you can print a PDF.
Hope this helps.

Download Free Trials
Try this program. Converts PDF to DFX & allows you to edit within Autocad.
The program allows you 20 goes before demanding a fee.
