This service is similar to one which our enlightened (not) councilers turned down in Fort William some years ago. One main reason being that it would be too noisy. As we have lots of flying by small aircraft and helicopters on a daily basis and military fastjets Monday to Friday most people could not understand the opposition. I hope they are successful.

I am amazed that you haven't had such a service for such a long time.

It is a perfect solution to a lot of communication issue with a lot of the most remote areas.

Many places in the world such as Canada rely on such services as this and noise is never seen as an issue when compared to the benefits.
